Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of independent commissioners, institutional ownership, leverage and investment decisions on financial performance in banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). This research is focused on banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) from 2016 to 2018 using purposive sampling method to obtain 23 companies. Data sources were obtained from the official site of Indonesia Stock Exchange (www.idx.co.id). The analysis method in this study is panel regression analysis. The results showed that the Independent Commissioner partially had no effect on Financial Performance, Institutional Ownership had no effect on Financial Performance, Leverage negatively affect Financial Performance and Investment Decisions negatively affect Financial Performance.
