Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the working capital turnover (WCT), debt to asset ratio (DAR) and firm size to profitability in the companys sub-sector of financing institutions listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2018. This type of research is quantitative research, the population in this study is a service company, the financial sector, with sub-sector financial institutions listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), the sample of this study is 10 companies. Data collection techniques using the method of documentation in the form of the companys annual financial statements on secondary data. The analytical tool used is descriptive statistics, multiple regression analysis in the form of t test, f test, and coefficient of determination, as well as the classic assumption test consisting of normality test, multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test, and heteroscedasticity test. The results of this study indicate that working capital turnover (WCT) has a negative effect and not significant on profitability, debt to total asset ratio (DAR) has a negative effect and significant on profitability, and firm size has a significant positive effect on profitability. Simultaneously working capital turnover (WCT), debt to assets ratio (DAR) and firm size have a positive effect on profitability.
