Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation and benefits of premartial guidance in KUA Donohudan, Ngemplak District, Boyolali Regency, as well as the differences between married couples who follow and do not follow premartial guidance in an effort to form a sakinah family. This approach uses the empirical juridical approach with primary data in the form of interviews and also secondary data in the form of library materials. The results of the study are the implementation of premartial guidance in KUA Donohudan, Ngemplak District, Boyolali Regency has been implemented well, premartial guidance is carried out in groups and independently, with oral media and methods of lecturing and discussion, the other result is that premarital guidance is needed for brides who want to get married, especially for brides who do not understand the basics needed in living domestic life, so that it can be a foundation in living domestic life and can resolve domestic conflicts wisely.
