Abstract

This study analyzes the Islamic view of female workers who work at PT. Jaya Perkasa to make a family living. The main issues in this study are: How PT. Jaya Perkasa fulfills the rights of women workers ?, What is the view of Islamic law regarding women who work to support their families?. The purpose of this study was to determine the rights of women workers in PT. Jaya Perkasa has been given or not and to find out the view of Islamic law related to women as family breadwinners. This type of research is a type of field research or called (Field Research) by taking a location at PT. Jaya Perkasa located at Jl. Raya Solo-Wonogiri, Hamlet III, Telukan, Kec. Grogol, Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java 57552. And this research also included a library research. The approach used in this study is a descriptive approach because the data obtained came from direct interviews with female workers at PT. Jaya Perkasa and also to HRD PT. Jaya Perkasa. While the data collection methods are using interviews, observation, and documentation. From the results of research by PT. Jaya Perkasa has fulfilled the rights of female employees, including: wage rights, leave rights, and the right to obtain health and employment insurance. According to Islamic law is to allow women to work outside the home to make a living for their family if the situation is urgent, does not violate Islamic law and does not neglect their obligation to take care of their children and husband and work outside the home with the blessing and permission from the husband.
