Abstract
ABSTRACT Acute coronary syndrome is a collection of clinical symptoms caused by atherosclerosis. Atherosclerosis causes the coronary arteries to narrow and results in inadequate blood flow to the heart. The inability to control risk factors creates a lack of awareness in making early detection and active prevention efforts. This study aims to identify the picture of preventive measures in groups at risk of acute coronary syndrome in Drono Village, Ngawen District, Klaten Regency. This type of research is a quantitative study with a descriptive design using a cross-sectional approach with 118 respondents taken by total sampling technique. Using research instruments in the form of attitude and prevention questionnaires referenced in the Knowledge Attitude Practice (KAP) questionnaire. Data processing techniques using descriptive frequency univariate test techniques. The results of this study were the majority of respondents aged 40-60 years, female sex, educated high school and the highest risk factor was hypertension. The dominant risk factors that emerge are hypertension, diabetes mellitus, obesity, smoking, and cholesterol. Prevention of risk factors for acute coronary syndrome the average respondent has a good attitude, while the practice in prevention of risk factors for acute coronary syndrome shows that most respondents are less able to do prevention. Keywords: Acute Coronary Syndrome, Prevention. ABSTRACT Acute coronary syndrome is a collection of clinical symptoms caused by atherosclerosis.
