Abstract

Some phenomena obtained by researchers found different levels of work stress in working mothers. Various factors that affect work stress include multiple role conflict and work period so the purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between dual role conflict and work period with work stress in working mothers. The subjects in this study were mothers who worked with 100 subjects. The sampling technique in this study is simple quota sampling. This research uses a quantitative approach with data collection tools using work stress scale and multiple role conflict scale. The data analysis used is multiple regression analysis using the SPSS application. The results of data analysis showed F 20,316 with a significant level of 0,000 <0.05 which showed that there was a very significant relationship between the variables of multiple role conflict and work period with work stress, so that the major hypothesis of the researcher was proven. While the researcher's minor hypothesis is the correlation between work stress and multiple role conflict with the results of data analysis (r) = 0.530 and Sig (1-tailed) 0,000 <0.05, which indicates that there is a significant positive relationship between work stress variables and multiple role conflict. Correlation between work stress and work period with the results of data analysis (r) = -0.095 2 and Sig (1-tailed) 0.174 which indicates that there is no relationship between work stress variables with years of service.
