Abstract

Based on the phenomena obtained that student activists are less able to commit to the organizations he cites for rarely participating in activities and feeling bored with existing activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between social support and organizational commitment of activist students, the relationship between self-efficacy and organizational commitment of activist students, and the relationship between social support and self-efficacy to organizational commitment of activist students. The population in this study were solo activist students, with research subjects totaling 130 students, the technique of sample collection using probability simple random sampling. The method used in this research is quantitative with a measuring instrument in the form of a scale of social support, self-efficacy, and a scale of organizational commitment. Data analysis technique used is multiple regression. Based on the results of data analysis it is known: there is a significant positive relationship between social 2 support for organizational commitment seen from the correlation value (r) = 0.791 with Sig (1-Tailed) 0,000 <0.05, there is a significant positive relationship between self-efficacy and organizational commitment seen from the correlation value (r) = 0.665 with Sig (1-Tailed) 0,000 <0.05, and there is a positive relationship between social support and self-efficacy on organizational commitment seen from the Anova Regression value, with a value (F) = 130,325 with Sig 0,000 <0.05. The effective contribution of the relationship between social support and self-efficacy to organizational commitment, based on the coefficient R2 (R Square) = 67.2%, with details of social support 48.8% then self-efficacy 18.4% and there are 30.4% influenced by another variable.
