Abstract
OVERVIEW OF PREGNANT WOMEN'S PREGNANT WOMEN CHRONIC ENERGY DEFICIENCY AFTER ADDITIONAL FOOD IN WERU PUSKESMAS AREA Introduction: The fulfillment of the nutritional needs of pregnant women can be seen from the increase in maternal weight every month. Nutritional deficiencies in pregnant women occur in many developing countries, including chronic energy shortages. Malnutrition in pregnant women can cause problems for both mother and fetus. One of the government programs in reducing the number of chronic energy-deficient pregnant women is by providing supplementary food. Supplementary feeding aims to meet the nutritional needs of the mother during pregnancy. Objective: This study is to determine the nutritional status of pregnant women with chronic energy deficiency after supplementary feeding in the Weru Public Health Center. Method: This type of research is observational research. The sample of this study was 81 pregnant women lacking in chronic energy trimester II and trimester III amount by purposive sampling. Data analysis using descriptive test. Results: The study showed that after supplementary feeding pregnant women increased their nutritional status by 93.8%. Conclusion: After supplementary feeding in pregnant women with chronic energy deficiency improved nutritional status. Keywords: Nutritional status
