Abstract
Background: Cervical cancer is the fourth most threatening cancer in women with an estimated 570,000 new cases in 2018. In 2018 the prevalence of cervical cancer in Indonesia is 23.4 per 100,000 population with an average death rate of 13.9 per 100,000 population . Cervical cancer is a disease that occurs in the area of the female reproductive organs located between the uterus and the vaginal opening. Religious is an obedient attitude and behavior in carrying out the teachings of the religion it believes. Objective: To find out religious in cervical cancer patients in Dr. Moewardi Surakarta. Research Methods: This type of research is quantitative and the research method used is descriptive quantitative. The total sample of 45 respondents with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. Data collection used by using a questionnaire totaling 16 questions, using univariate analysis. Results: Research at RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta the patient's religious knowledge is good (84.4%). Patients who pray (28.9%) do not pray (71.1%). Patients who did dzikir (97.8%), who did not dhikr (2.2%). Patients who practice worship read Al-Quran (13.3%), who do not worship read Al-Quran (86.7%). Religious beliefs about the patient were good (93.3%). Conclusion: Patients with cervical cancer in RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta, which is the most age category is 50-59 years old, the most recent education is elementary school (SD), most patients are housewives (IRT), and most patients have entered stage 3B. Based on an analysis of patients' knowledge and beliefs about religious good, dhikr is often done by patients, prayer and reading the Al-Quran are largely not done by patients.
