Abstract
Humans as social beings always have a desire to interact with others as well as campus missionary activists. The aim of this research is to understand and describe how social interactions with missionary activists on campus. The subjects of this study were drawn from 2 da'wah organizations namely IMM (Muhammadiyah Student Association) and HMI (Islamic Student Association). Each organization was taken by 2 male and female respondents who were active in the organization. This type of research uses qualitative methods with semi-structured interviews and observations and the results are analyzed using the process of data reduction and interpretation. The results of the study show that 1) Organizational commitment to campus missionary activists shows results that vary from good to less good, whether they are willing to carry out and comply with the existing regulations of their organization and Islamic religious rules, and the less good they still violate rules such as smoking and piggybacking on women who are not Muslim. 2) Respondents conduct social interaction with positive reactions through meetings and discussions on work programs for monthly activities or discussion of study material. 3) Forms of social interaction carried out, in the form of direct and indirect social interactions, forms of direct interaction conducted by respondents in the form of meetings and group discussions to discuss work programs, study material or discussion of the organization's vision and mission carried out in the office of the organization or at a place to eat. In addition, other forms of indirect social interaction are carried out through WhatsApp and line chat
