Abstract

Population growth in the Province of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta has increased every year, including in Bantul Regency which is ranked second in the regency with the highest population in the province. Population growth in Bantul Regency is followed by the development of built land that is getting higher. The purpose of this study is to determine the magnitude of the development of built land in Bantul Regency in 2030 and to analyze the development of built land against RTRW Bantul Regency in 2030. Remote sensing data has the advantage of being used for more efficient monitoring than direct observation in the field. The analysis shows that in 2030 Bantul Regency is predicted to experience the development of built land reaching 48.34% of its area and spread in 17 districts. In addition, the development of land developed in 2030 is predicted to be dominant in urban areas, rural areas and wetland agriculture.
