Abstract

Tourism in Indonesia has recently seen a significant increase. Tourists begin to visit tourist attractions, one of which is the Jamus Tea Plantation area, precisely in Ngawi Regency. When school holidays and national holidays seen an increase in visitors soared higher than normal days. With this, there is no infrastructure development that accommodates in order to raise the potential of tourism in Ngawi Regency, especially the Jamus area itself, namely the Hotel. When reviewed, the development and utilization of tourism potential in the Jamus Tea Plantation Tourism area is currently not optimal. This is evident from the inadequacy of existing accommodation facilities. Jamus Tea Resort Hotel also applies the concept of contextual architecture, so that the contextual concept can blend in with the climate and surrounding natural conditions. The existence of this hotel design to provide services to tourists who want to stop for a vacation at the Jamus Tea Plantation. Aside from being a forum for tourism activities, the hotel is expected to be able to move economic activity for the local residents. The uniqueness and uniqueness of the surrounding community will be of more value than the resort hotels that will be designed in its path. Later it is expected that there will be a symbiosis of mutualism between resort hotels and the surrounding community.
