Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the economic growth of the city of Surakarta. The factors that influence the economic growth of the city of Surakarta include the Human Development Index, Labor and Poverty using panel data regression. Panel data is a combination of time series data and cross section data. The most appropriate model used in this process is Ordinary Least Square Regression Analysis (OLS). The results of this study indicate that the Human Development index variable does not significantly influence the economic growth of the city of Surakarta. While the variable level of work and poverty significantly influence the economic growth of the city of Surakarta.
