Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Exchange Rate, Inflation, Foreign Exchange Reserves and the BI Rate on the Trade Balance in Indonesia in 1990- 2018. The data used are time series data published by the World Bank, Bank Indonesia (BI), and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The analytical method used in this study is multiple regression analyst with OLS (Ordinary Least Squares) Model. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that in the classical assumption test the exchange rate and foreign exchange reserves significantly influence the trade balance but the inflation and BI Rate variables do not significantly influence the trade balance
