Abstract
This study aims to determine the results of micro-photo testing and the value of thermal conductivity of aluminum alloy with the influence of heat treatment using the media. The process of making aluminum specimens was cut 4mm thick and 6mm thick as many as 4 pieces of heat treated at a temperature of 400 ° C for 30 minutes and cooled using air, water and oil cooling media. After the aluminum heat treatment process then the micro-photo test and thermal conductivity test. The results of the study indicate that aluminum which is heat treated using oilcooling media has the highest thermal conductivity value, and aluminum with aircooling media has the smallest value of thermal conductivity.
