Abstract

This study has 2 main objectives, namely knowing leading sectors and their changes in Central Java Province in 1986,2000,2010, and 2018. As well as analyzing the effect of Investment, Labor, and Labor Aglomeration Index in 2016-2018 on sectoral excellence in the province of Central Java. This study uses the Location Quotient (LQ) analysis to influence leading sectors and uses panel data regression analysis. The results of this study indicate a shift in leading sectors in several sectors and manufacturing sectors that have a high dominant LQ value. Then the results of the panel data analysis show that there is a significant influence between the variables of Investment, Labor, and the Labor Agglomeration Index on Sectoral Excellence (LQ).
