Abstract
This study aims to describe: (1) the task of teachers in handling bullying, (2) the follow-up of teachers in handling bullying. This study uses qualitative research, data collection techniques with interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using interactive models. The validity of the data uses triangulation of sources and techniques, the results of the study show that: (1) the task of the teacher as an educator, supervisor, and instructor is to discuss student relations, find out the cause of bullying, provide educational assistance, provide good direction for students, provide guidance towards students with problems, helping students when facing difficulties, being protective for students, training students for social needs to overcome bullying, using class meetings to discuss the causes of bullying and coping with defense. Forms of bullying that occur at SD Negeri Ngembatpadas 1 Gemolong are denied physical bullying such as hitting, secondly verbal bullying such as mocking, thirdly psychological bullying such as isolating. (2) follow up of teacher handling of bullying against teachers and providing counseling guidance for problem students. This research can help solve cases of bullying that often occur on a regular basis.
