Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the planning, implementation, and evaluation of science learning with scientific literacy-based in SMPLB Negeri Ungaran. This study was a qualilative research with a phenomenological approach. The data collection techniques were interview, observation, and documentation. The validity of the data in this study used source triangulation techniques. The data analysis referred to the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study showed that (1) The planning of science learning with scientific literacy-based consisted of arranging the annual program, semester program, syllabus, and lesson plan according to the type of the disability. The element of scientific literacy- 2 based was integerated in every type of planning by considering the disability types. The planning was designed by the teacher of the disability class who also taught all of learning subjects. (2) The implementation of science learning with scientific literacy-based in SMPLB Negeri Ungaran offered three main activities which were the pre-activity, the main-activity, and the post-activity whose delivery was adjusted to the type of disability. The pre-activity was carried out as in ordinary learning but it already contained elements of scientific literacy-based. In the main-activity, there were the differences of methods and media for each disability class when implementing the science learning with scientific literacy-based. In the post-activity, some students came in front of class to be given questions which were tailored to the type of disability. (3) Evaluation of science learning with scientific literacy-based referred to the assesment of cognitive, affective,and psychomotor in which integrated scientific literacy in the form of content, process, and context aspects that had been adapted to the type of disability because they had different characteristics and needs.
