Abstract

Egg sorting system is the process of sorting eggs to find out the quality of eggs. It takes a long time. To solve this problem, create an Android-Based Egg Quality Sorter Tool. This tool is able to distinguish between eggs (fresh) and bad eggs (rotten) using an LDR sensor (Light Dependent Resistor), microcontroller Arduino Nano ATMega328, LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) as a viewer of the status of the eggs used and the servo motor as an egg sorter to free between good eggs and bad eggs automatically. In addition, data can also be monitored via the web and smartphones. The results of this study show how a tool designed to sort good and bad quality of chicken eggs. Based on testing 52 samples consisting of native chicken eggs and ordinary chicken eggs, this tool proves 92.3% native chicken eggs, 92.3% poor native chicken eggs, 84.6% good normal chicken eggs, 100% bad normal chicken eggs , and sort eggs with a success rate of 84.6%.
