Abstract
Learning in Indonesian offers many different types of models. In this study applying learning that is able to generate interesting learning is the problem bassed learning (PBL) which is implemented at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Gemolong Class XI Accounting 1. The purpose of this study is are to: (1) find out the application of the problem bassed learning (PBL); (2) find out the increase in student learning outcomes in accounting classes XI SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Gemolong through the problem bassed learning (PBL) method. Data collection techniques using the method of documentation, test methods, methods of observation and interview methods. The results showed that by using the problem bassed learning (PBL) method, student learning outcomes have increased with views through the average value obtained by students, starting from before the existence of research actions / pre-cycle, continued to cycle I and finally cycle II. From the acquisition of pre-cycle completeness percentage of 26.31% (5 students achieved minimal learning completeness (KBM) from 19 students in accounting services), cycle I gained 52.63% (10 students reached KBM from 19 students in subjects accounting) and in the second cycle as much as 84.21% (16 students complete the achievement of KBM in accounting services from 19 students). Therefore the learning method using the problem bassed learning (PBL) method is good to be applied in learning accounting services, because by doing this action can improve the learning outcomes of students of class XI Akt 1 in SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Gemolong by obtaining the results of improvement from cycle I and cycle II .
