Abstract

This study aims to study whether charismatic leadership dimensions affect employee performance simultaneously and also the variable dimensions that improve employee performance at the Ta'mirul Islam Boarding School of Surakarta. Methods of data collection using a questionnaire and distributed throughout the population working in Surakarta Ta'mirul Islam Islamic Boarding School as many as 151 respondents with a sampling technique using purposive sampling and the number of respondents by 70 samples, research analysis methods with test instruments (validity and reliability test), classic assumption test and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis using SPSS 20. Evaluation results seen from the t test on the dimensions of display empathy variables and assures followers of competency have no positive and significant effect on employee performance. While on the dimensions of project self-assurance, enhances the leader’s image, provides followers with opportunities to experience succes have positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Ta'mirul Islam boarding school of Surakarta. The test results seen from the F test on the dimensions of the Charismatic Leadership variables together have a significant effect on employee performance. As well as on the dimensions of the variable provides followers with opportunities to experience succes has the most dominant and significant coefficient on the performance of the Surakarta Ta'mirul Islam Boarding School employees.
