Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze how the influence (NPF) of Non Performing Financing and (BOPO) Operational Costs to Operating Income to Profitability (ROA) in Islamic Commercial Banks. Besides this research is also to find out what factors are dominant between NPF and BOPO in influencing profitability in Islamic commercial banks. The results of simultaneous testing using the F test show that the multiple linear regression model is feasible as a research model. Furthermore, using the t test shows that (NPF) Non Performing Financing has a significant and positive effect on profitability, while (BOPO) Operational Costs on Operating Income has no significant effect on profitability. Furthermore, the dominant independent variable on profitability (ROA) is Non Performing financing (NPF). While Operating Costs to Operating Income (BOPO) do not have a significant effect on profitability (ROA). Then the company should be able to stabilize the level of expenditure that exists at the company or focus attention on appropriate cost control and operational efficiency.
