Abstract

This study aims to: 1) know the role of the Tirta Mandiri Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) program in improving the welfare of the community in the economic field; 2) find out the obstacles of the role of Tirta Mandiri Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) program in improving the welfare of the community in the economic field; 3) find out the solution of the role of Tirta Mandiri Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) program in improving the welfare of the community in the economic field. This type of research is qualitative. The subject of the research is Tirta Mandiri Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) and the Ponggok Community. The object of research is the role of Tirta Mandiri Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in improving the welfare of the community in the economic field in Desa Ponggok Kec. Polanharjo Regency. Klaten. Data collection methods using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data validity uses data sources triangulation and techniques triangulation. This research uses interactive analysis techniques. The results of the study show that: 1) based on community welfare indicators in the economic sector, namely income level, education level, and health level, the role of the Tirta Mandiri Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) program has been able to improve community welfare in the economic field; 2) there are obstacles to the role of the Tirta Mandiri Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) program in improving the welfare of the community in the economic field. Good obstacles in increasing income, increasing education and improving health; 3) there is a solution to the role of the Tirta Mandiri Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) program in improving the welfare of the community in the economic field to deal with the constraints they experience.
