Abstract

The purpose of this study is to 1). Describe the planning, implementation and evaluasi of the school environment as a source of learning science in SMP N 2 Mertoyudan, 2). Describe the constraints of teachers in managing the school environment as a learning resource in SMP N 2 Mertoyudan, 3). Describe the efforts made by teachers to overcome obstacles in the management of the school environment as a source of learning in SMP N 2 Mertoyudan. This research is a type of qualitative research with ethnographic approach.Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The validity of the data in research with source and technical triangulation. Data analysis through data reduction, data model (display data) and conclusion drawing / verification. The results of this study are learning planning begins by looking at the potential of the school environment and then the teacher conducts a survey of the environment and synchronizes with the basic competencies and the teacher makes a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) that refers to K13, the implementation of learning through three stages namely the initial stage, core activities and In the end, evaluation of learning is done when learning takes place or after learning takes place with written tests and oral tests covering three aspects, namely cognitive, affective and psychomotor. Constraints in the use of the school environment as a learning resource that is teachers are less able to condition students while in the school environment, learning to use the school environment requires a long time when outside of school, there are some students who are less focused in observing in the school environment. The teacher's effort in overcoming these obstacles is that the teacher participates directly in the observation process in the school environment and monitors students directly so that students are more focused, the teacher must be able to manage time to be effective and efficient in learning so that the time spent is in accordance with the learning plan, the teacher gives rewards students in the learning process so that students focus on observations in the school environment.
