Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the variable empathy (display empathy) effect on employee performance at PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Surakarta. To analyze the variable of mission delivery (dramatize the mission) affect the performance of employees at PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Surakarta. To analyze the variable of confidence (project self-assurance) affect the performance of employees at PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Surakarta. To analyze the variable of self-image development (enhances the leader’s image) affect the performance of employees at PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Surakarta. To analyze the subordinate competency variables (assures followers of competency) affect the performance of employees at PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Surakarta The population in this study were all employees of PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta Hospital while the sample was 100 respondents of PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta Hospital and the method was through purposive sampling with determined criteria, namely employees who worked more than 2 years and employees who were subordinates. Based on the results of the study note that the variable ability to empathize (X1) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Surakarta. The mission delivery variable (X2) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Surakarta. Confidence variable (X3) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Surakarta. Self image development variable (X4) has a positive and significant effect on performance. Subordinate competency variable (X5) has a positive and significant effect on performance.
