Abstract
Unemployment is a problem that is often faced by all countries in the World including Indonesia. Unemployment is a condition where someone who belongs to the labor force but does not have a job and is actively looking for work. The purpose of this study is to find out how the influence of wages, inflation and education on unemployment, whether positive or negative. Models and data used in this study are Random Effect Model (REM) and panel data. The analysis shows that inflation has a positive and significant effect, Education has a negative and significant effect on unemployment while wages have a positive but not significant effect on unemployment districts / cities in Central Java. The policy implications that can be taken by the government are improving the quality of education or the average length of school, providing training facilities to increase job seekers to suit the needs of the workforce.
