Abstract

The winch on the truck crane is a component that is used to pull loads vertically using wire rope as a medium. Winch devices are divided into several components including: Winch motor, and winch reducer. Winch Reducer functions to reduce the rotation of the motor winch and increase the Winch Reducer torque divided into several components, namely Planetary Gear. Planetary gear is a gear arrangement consisting of three elements, namely: a sun gear (a gear in the center), a planet gear (an intermediate gear or one that rotates between a sun gear and a ring gear) and a ring gear (the largest gear toothed as a planetary gear set). The planetary gear function is to reduce the rotation so that the end result of the spin out becomes smaller. The purpose of this research is to identify the damage and rotation of the gear winch reducer in the XCMG SQ12SK3Q Truck Mounted Crane unit. Examination of damage is done directly in a gradual manner in accordance with the inspection procedure performing a performance test on the Winch system, visual inspection of the inspection procedure carried out with a hydraulic tank, hose, body control valve transmission and disassembly Winch. Inspection transmission is done by checking the condition of the oil and components of planetay gear. The results of the analysis show the presence of gear conditions and broken bearings, sourced from the condition of the lubricating oil which is contaminated by Vaselin Grease and the condition of the oil seal that is leaking which causes the gear and bearings to work very heavily to wear out.
