Abstract

This study aims to develop canting batik that can minimize the occurrence of night drops and night vacancy so that it can save you the use of raw materials at night. With this research, it is expected to be able to provide solutions related to the use of canting at Griya Batik Brotoseno in improving the efficiency of using wax or night to make batik. The object of this research is the canting batik. The method used is Quality Function Deployment (QFD) Phases 1 to Phase 4. Respondents of this study are Griya Batik Brotoseno written batik employees, amounting to 10 respondents. The data obtained is based on the results of interviews and questionnaires. The results of this study in the form of an electric canting design that can reduce the occurrence of droplets and vacancies at night where when using conventional canting, 154 grams of night are needed with 117 times the filling while when using the electric night canting design is 124 grams with 62 times the filling.
