Abstract

Koperasi Karya Sejahtera is a cooperative that organizes the use of services that are compensated with wages. In the view of Islam there is indeed no obligation to limit the amount of wages given to workers. Islam only provides limits there must be justice to the work done and the work is not prohibited from Islamic sharia. The purpose of this study is to know the system of wages payment to employees and a review of Islamic law on the system of wages payment to employees at the Karya Sejahtera Cooperative of Susukan, Semarang. This type of research is qualitative. The data used in this study is primary data from direct interviews with employees in Karya Sejahtera Cooperative of Susukan. The method used is the interview and documentation method. Analysis of the data used in the study used a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the research prove that the wage payment system for employees at the Karya Sejahtera Susukan Cooperative is that wage payments are given every 20th. Wages include Regional Minimum Wages, work compensation benefits, transportation assistance, food allowances. An overview of Islamic law on wage payment systems for employees in Koperasi Karya Sejahtera Susukan, Semarang, especially from one of the pillars of ijarah namely sighah (ijab and kabul) in the form of a written work contract with all the provisions of rights and obligations from each party agreed by both parties and also especially from one of the terms of the ijarah namely payment of wages must be valuable and clear.
