Abstract
Bioplastics is an alternative to conventional plastics and bioplastics is easily degraded by microorganisms. Onggok sugar palm potentially used as material of plastic prosesing a bioplastics because in contains high starch. In this study, also add plasticizer sorbitol and glycerol to increase the flexibility of bioplastics, and the addition of chitosan was to improve tensile strength of bioplastic. The researd was armed to determine the effect of sorbitol and temperature on the caracteristic of bioplastic, sample with composition of 6 grams onggok sugar palm in 60 ml aquades, 4 ml glycerol, heating time 65 minutes with stirring speed 950 rpm, variable consentration of sorbitol 2 ml, 4 ml, 6 ml and 8 ml, while the temperature used is 60oC, 70oC, 80oC. The resurf showed that the most optimum tensile strength value 2.10 Mpa in variable sorbitol 2 ml and temperature 70oC, elongation value 25.00% in variable sorbitol 8 ml and temperature 80oC
