Abstract

Carpal tunnel syndrome is a place where the meridian nerve enters the carpal tract and is controlled by the carpal bones and the transverse ligament. The Objective of this research are to find out the management of physiotherapy reducing pain and increasing the scope of motion of the joint with ultra sound modalities and upper limb tension test. The Results after 3 times of therapy, the results of silent pain assessment from T0 = 0 to T3 = 0 were obtained, tenderness from T0 = 1 to T3 = 0, motion pain from T0 = 4 to T3 = 3. Conclusion of this research are administration of ultra sound (US) modalities can reduce pain and for the administration of upper limb tension test can increase the scope of motion of the left wrist joint in cases of carpal tunnel syndrome.
