Abstract

Efforts to provide health services are carried out through hospital health services, because the hospital is a place for providing health services to the community. The hospital is the whole organization and the medical function is to provide complete health services to the community, where the service output reaches family and environmental services. The study was conducted aiming to 1. Assess the level of utilization of hospital services in the study area. 2. Assessing how much influence the level of education, income, and distance to the utilization of hospitals in the study area. The method in this study is a survey, random sampling stratified (strata level) male and female. In this study the results obtained are 1. The level of utilization of the Pandan Arang Regional General Hospital in the low category, because the average frequency of patient visits per year is as much as ≤ 3 times per year, which is as much as 68%. 2. The influence of the education variable (X1) on the frequency of visits (Y) with a significance value of 0.093> 0.05 has no effect. The magnitude of influence between income variables (X2) on the frequency of visits (Y) with a significance value of 0.395> 0.05 there is no influence. The results between the mileage variable (X3) to the frequency of visits (Y) with a significance value of 0.923> 0.05 there is no influence between the two variables. Simultaneously, the magnitude of influence between the variables X1, X2, X3 on Y is indicated by an R square value of 0.033 or 0.33%.
