Abstract

Heavy equipment undercarriage that is commonly used in excavators consists of many movable components that must be periodically maintained in order to function properly. If undercarriage is not routinely maintained and inspected, this could cause a potential reduction in undercarriage life. Maintenance of excavator undercarriage components is carried out as a form of maintenance of the undercarriage components, thereby facilitating further repair steps. Undercarriage maintenance must be carried out periodically according to the time of use. Periodical maintenance is a maintenance program that is carried out periodically after the equipment has worked within a certain number of operating hours. Periodical maintenance is generally carried out in certain periods such as daily, weekly and monthly.
