Abstract

This study is entitled "Lottery Prizes at BMT AMANAH UMMAH Kartasura in the Perspective of Islamic Law". In it examines the practice of lottery prizes held for BMT members who use mudharabah loan products, in general lottery prizes in Islam are not permitted and are strictly prohibited because they contain elements of maisir and garar. The problem in this research is how the lottery practices held by BMT are permitted and in accordance with Islamic legal rules while BMT is an institution based and the rules are based on Islamic law. The results of this study indicate that lottery activities organized by BMT are in accordance with Islamic law, in Islam as long as there are no members who are disadvantaged then halal, in the lottery held by BMT members are not asked for contributions to participate in this lottery but members can participate in the activities this is if you save, and points for the conditions to enter the lottery are obtained after the balance is eligible to get points, so as long as the member keeps on saving will get a lot of points, and the member with the most points can enter the draw, the most important thing participants who don't get prizes don't feel disadvantaged because their savings balance does not change as this activity progresses, and also the prizes given are clear at the beginning so participants know from the beginning the prizes that will be distributed through the draw.
