Abstract

Economic growth is one of the most important indicators in assessing the performance of an economy, especially to conduct an analysis of the results of economic development that have been carried out by a country or a region. This study aims to determine the effect of Education Level, Labor, Government Expenditure and Unemployment on Economic Growth in Indonesia in 2014-2018. The dependent variable in this study is economic growth, while the independent variables are Education Level, Labor, Government Expenditure and Unemployment Rate. This study uses combined secondary data from cross section and time series data, the data was obtained from the Indonesian Central Statistics Agency (BPS) covering 34 provinces in 2014-2018. The analytical method used is panel data regression analysis. The results showed that the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) was the best model from the panel data model. Based on the test of the validity of the influence shows that the level of education, labor, government expenditure and unemployment rate has a significant effect on economic growth.
