Abstract

This study aims to analyze wheat imports in Indonesia, International wheat production, International wheat prices, exchange rates or exchange rates for the period 2002-2008. This study uses secondary data type of time series, the data was obtained from the Indonesian central statistics agency, FAO, BI, Ministry of agriculture. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis tool with the ordinary least square (OLS) method. Based on the results of the normality test analysis shows that the linear model.classic assumption test there are no problems in the model. T test of International wheat production variables and International wheat prices have a positive and significant effect on wheat imports in Indonesian in 2002-2018, while the exchange rate variable has no effect and is not significant on wheat imports in Indonesia in 2002-2018. The coefficient of determination is 0,9817, meaning that 98,17% of the variation in International wheat prices, the exchange rate, and International wheat production. The remaining 2,83% is explained by variation of variables or other factors outside the model under study.
