Abstract

ABSTRACTS Baki District is an area consisting of urban areas. The nature of its territory which can be categorized as a rural suburb or an area close to an urban area carries such a nature that is similar to an urban area. Having high mobility with regions between regions and between regions that need each other. Because the existence of changes in land use is increasing, the higher the population's needs in meeting urgent needs. As a form of meeting needs, populations utilize space or land to be more useful and of economic value to meet needs. This research aims to discuss how to replace land functions that occurred in the District of 2 Bama in the period 2010 to 2018. In addition, it is also to find out the dominant factors that cause changes in research land use. This research uses secondary data analysis methods and overlapping land use maps in 2010 and 2018. So that the resulting distribution of land use changes that occur in the study area. The dominant factor can be determined by the stepwise multiple regression test which aims to reduce the number of variable variables in the equation by infusing variables one by one until the variable is found to be the most dominant. Data collection is done by questionnaire to the population with purposive sampling which is aimed at residents who are at the location of the point of land changes that occur. The location can be known from the results of overlapping land use in 2010 and 2018 so that it can be seen which locations are changing land. The results of the study show a map of land use change in 2010 and 2018. So it can be seen the distribution of land changes in each village in Baki District. The dominant factor shows the most influential variable on land changes that occurred in Baki District in the period of 2010 and 2018.
