Abstract

Background: Osteoartitis (OA) is a degenerative joint disease, in which the entire structure of the knee joint undergoes pathological changes. Physiotherapy problems consist of pain, muscle strength, and joint strength. Objective: To find out the benefits of infrared, TENS, and Hold Relax to reduce pain, increase muscle strength, and improve LGS in patients with bilateral knee osteoarthritis cases. Results: After physiotherapy three times, a decrease in the left knee Ft 1: silent (1), press (3), motion (4) becomes Ft 4: silent (0), press (2), motion (3) ), while the decrease in motion in the right FT 1 knee is silent (2), press (4), motion (7) becomes Ft 4: silent (1), press (3), motion (5), increase flexor left knee muscle strength from Ft 1: (-4) becomes Ft 4: (4) then in the left knee extensor muscle from Ft 1: (4) to Ft 4: (5) while the increase in flexor right knee muscle strength from Ft 1: (-4) becomes Ft 4: (4) then on the extensor leg of the right knee from Ft 1: (-4) to Ft. 4: (4), Increase LGS active left knee from Ft. 1: S (0 ° -120 °) to Ft. 4: S. (0 ° -130 °) and LGS passive Ft 1: S left knee (0 ° -124 °) to Ft 4: S (0 ° -135 °), while LGS active right knee from Ft 1: S (15-105 °) to Ft 4: S (8 ° -118 °) and LGS passive Ft 1: S right knee (13 ° -108 °) to Ft 4: S (5 ° -120 °) Conclusion: Giving infrared, TENS, and Hold Relax can cause a decrease in pain, increase muscle strength and increase LGS on the patient's dextra shoulder.
