Abstract

This research is experiment research purposes to know the efectivity of the learning strategy of outdoor study that is used in learning mitigation material and adaptation of disaster. This research is a cuantitative one, the design is true experimental design, that is done by giving pretest and postest. Analysis tecnic by test (Uji T) by using software SPSS 16.0. The test result (t-tes) in pretest and postest either in control class and experiment class are significative. That is H0 the both class have significative values (2 tailed) 0.00 or H0<0,05 so H0 rejected and H1 accepted. The average of N-Gain Score in the experiment class in presentaion is 57,0%. The acquisition is included in the interpretation of "quite effective". Whereas the average of N-Gain Score in the control class is a 28,6%. It refers to the effectivity of N-Gain Score so the result of the average is in the category “not efective”. The conclusion of this research shows that the using of learning strategy outdoor class on the mitigation disaster material quite efective to increasing the result study of the student than the learning strategy of indoor class.
