Abstract
Osteoarthritis is a long-term chronic disease, including thinning of the cartilage in the joints that cause friction between bones, so that the joint stiffness, pain and movement disorders. This disease causes pain and disability in sufferers so that it interferes with daily activities and sometimes makes sufferers experience anxiety due to various illnesses that do not heal even worse, so that hopes for recovery become very thin. Based on the results of preliminary studies conducted by researchers in Jetis Village data obtained as many as 78 patients with osteoarthritis, researchers have conducted interviews with 10 patients diagnosed with osteoarthritis, they often complain of pain and heat and experience stiffness in the joints, of the 10 patients there are 5 patients who experience swelling in the joints which results in inhibition of daily activities such as walking and interfering with rest and sleep, 5 other sufferers said they could not rest, were anxious and afraid of the disease. This study aimed to find a picture of physical activity disorders and anxiety levels of osteoarthritis patients due to recurrence. uhan in Jetis Village Work Area Puskesmas Baki Sukoharjo. This type of research is quantitative with a descriptive design. The sample in this study were 78 respondents taken in total sampling. The instruments in this study used the Katz Index questionnaire and Hamilton Rating Scale for Anxiety (HARS) including 6 questions and 14 questions. The results of the study most of the respondents experienced mild dependence of 30 respondents (38.5%) and while the highest level of anxiety was moderate anxiety by 67 respondents (85.9%). The conclusion in this study is that most osteoarthritis sufferers have a mild dependence in their daily lives and the majority of osteoarthritis sufferers have moderate anxiety.
