Abstract

Based on research in group B at Kindergarten Aisyiyah Pucangan 1 Kartasura found indicators that emotional development was low. The emergence of these facts is because emotion in students explode easily and have not been able to control anger, and teachers have not been able to guide children in controlling anger and stop bad behavior. This study aims to determine the increase in emotional development through time out techniques in group B at Kindergarten Aisyiyah Pucangan 1 Kartasura in 2018/2019 School Year. This research is a classroom action research (CAR). Subjects in this study were group B teachers and children at Kindergarten Aisyiyah Pucangan 1 Kartasura in 2018/2019 School Year, with a total of 19 children consisting of 13 boys and 6 girls. This can be proven by an increase from pre cycle to cycle I, which was originally (59.47%), increased to (65.26%). While from cycle I to cycle II, (65.26%), it increased to (80%). Data collection methods used in this study are the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. It can be concluded that, Increasing the development of children in group B at Kindergarten Aisyiyah Pucangan 1 Kartasura in the 2018/2019 School Year can be improved through time out techniques.
