Abstract
ANALYSIS OF THE EFFECT OF IMPLEMENTING GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE PRINCIPLES, MOTIVATION, ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE, AND COMPETENCE ON PERFORMANCE OF GOVERNMENT APPARATUS The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of variables, namely the principles of good corporate governance, motivation, organizational culture and competence on the performance of regional government apparatus in Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java Province. The population in this study are all government officials who work in the Regional Work Unit (SKPD) of Sukoharjo Regency. The data used in this study are primary data obtained from respondents who distributed questionnaires. Sampling was done using the convenience sampling method and the number of samples was 71 respondents. Data analysis using multiple linear regression using the SPSS 22 program. The results of this study indicate that motivation and competence affect the performance of government apparatus, while the principles of good corporate governance and organizational culture do not affect the performance of government officials
