Abstract

The research conducted at RestuKonveksi aims to assess and compare the mental workload felt by workers at 3 different job levels namely, Owner, Supervisor and Sewing Operator. With this research, it can help reduce excessive mental workload on workers and increase work productivity. One of the subjective workload measurement methods that can be applied is the Defense Research Agency Workload Scale (DRAWS) method. This method involves four measurement scale variables namely, Input Demand, Central Demand, Output Demand and Time Pressure. With the DRAWS method, the results showed that the mental workload felt by the Owner in the Overload category where the DRAWS variable that dominated was Input Demand with a value of 36.91%. Supervisor in the Overload category where the DRAWS variable that dominates is Central Demand with a value of 31.69%. And Sewing Operators are mostly in the Optimal Load category where the dominant DRAWS variable is Output Demand with a value of 29.65%. So it can be concluded that the work activities carried out by the Owner have the greatest mental burden compared to Supervisors and Sewing Operators. The most dominant DRAWS variable value is then given improvement so as not to cause excessive stress or mental fatigue, so that the production flow takes place smoothly.
