Abstract

Abstract Planning and procurement of the drug can be done using the ABC analysis method. Group A is a drug with a high frequency of use, group B medium frequency, and C group of low usage frequency. Aisyiyah Klaten RSIA has never used an ABC method for the planning and procurement of drugs. The purpose of this research is to know the process of planning and procurement of medicines with the method of analysis of ABC in Pharmacy installation of Aisyiyah Klaten RSIA. This type of research is descriptive with the research draft of case studies. Results of the ABC analysis of the usage value, which is included in group A as many as 31 drugs, group B as much as 44 drugs, and group C as much as 124 drugs. The results of the ABC analysis of investment value, is known to be included in group A or drugs that amount to the value of the money is high but the volume is small as much as 34 item of the drug with investment amount 69.79%, group B or drugs that amount to the value of money and volume Moderate as much as 38 items of drug with investment amount of 20.02%, and group C or drug whose amount of money value is low but the large volume of 127 drug items with investment amount of 10.19% of the total amount of drug investment. The process of drug planning in RSIA Aisyiyah Klaten uses consumption method based on last year's usage, disease pattern, future needs, and budget. Procurement of medication is done by direct purchase or loan. Planning and procurement of drugs have not been established special teams, information systems and human resources do not support to perform inventory control optimally so that needed analysis with the ABC method to facilitate the determination of planning priorities and Procurement of drugs.
