Abstract

Economic growth is the goal of a country for the creation of prosperity and prosperity. Foreign Debt and Foreign Direct Investment have become capital resources for the creation of economic growth to increase production and large economic output. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of foreign debt, foreign direct investment, saving, inflation, exports, and population on economic growth in developing ASEAN countries. This analysis uses panel data regression analysis method with the object of 8 developing countries in ASEAN for 10 years (2007-2016). Based on the results of the Chow test analysis and the Hausman test the best model chosen was the Random Effect Model (REM). Based on the results of the effect validity test (t test) at a significant level α of 0.10 and 0.05, the FDI and Inflation variables have positive and significant effects, while the ULN, Saving, Export and Inflation variables do not have a significant effect on the Economic Growth of ASEAN Developing Countries in 2007- 2016.
