Abstract
This study aims to describe an increase in the understanding of the values of Indonesian Unity through the screening of song videos by applying the modification of the Card Short and Small Group Discussion strategies Youthcoral Taruna in Pandeyan Village, Grogol District, Sukoharjo Regency. This study uses an experimental method that is of quantitative type with the design of the Pretest and Posttest One Group. This research was conducted in Pandeyan Village, Grogol District, Sukoharjo Regency. The population in this study amounted to 40 and 20 samples. The sampling technique used in this study used questionnaire and observation methods. Indicators of Indonesian unity values used in this study are: 1) Placing the unity, unity, safety of the nation and the State for personal or group interests. 2) Willing to sacrifice for the benefit of the nation and the State. 3) Love the homeland and the nation. 4) Promote association for the unity and unity of a diverse nation. The validity of this study uses the Pearson Product Correlation formula. Reliability uses the Shapiro Wilk test. The data analysis used in this study is the paired sample t-test. The results showed that t arithmetic 14.7372 was greater than t table 2.086 with a significance level of 0.05. The difference between Pretest and Postets showed an increase in the understanding of the values of Indonesian Unity through playing video songs with the application of modifications to the Card Short and Small Group Discussion strategies on Taruna reef youth in Pandeyan Village, Grogol District, Sukoharjo Regency. The Pretest average value of 34.45 increased to 40.85 on the Posttest. Based on the two data, it is then compared so that the value of the difference is 6.35. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the hypothesis proposed by Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a difference in understanding the values of Indonesian Unity after the video playback of songs with the application of the modified Card Short and Small Group Discussion strategies for youth in the Pandeyan Village, Grogol District, Sukoharjo District .
