Abstract
This study aims to describe the socialization of the value of love for the country through film screening with the application of the Snowball Throwing strategy in the combination of Scramble can increase understanding of the value of the love of the homeland in adolescents of Banyuanyar Village Mosque, Banjarsari District, Surakarta City. This study used a pre-experimental type method with the design of the Pretest One and Posttest Group. This research was conducted in Banyuanyar Village, Banjarsari District, Surakarta City. The population in this study amounted to 40 and 20 samples. The sampling technique used in this study was cluster sampling. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaire and observation methods. The indicators of the value of love for the homeland used in this study are: 1) using good and correct Indonesian; 2) love national culture; 3) likes made in Indonesia. The validity of this study uses the Pearson Product Correlation formula. Reliability uses the Kuder Richardson formula (KR-20). Normality in this study uses the Shapiro Wilk test. The data analysis used in this study is the paired sample t-test. The results showed that t count 8.182 is greater than t table 2,086 with a significance level of 0.05. This shows that there is an increase in understanding in the Banyuanyar Village mosque adolescents, Banjarsari District, Surakarta City between before (Pretest) and after (Posttest) socialization of the value of the love of the country through film screenings with the implementation of the Scramble Snowball Throwing strategy. The Pretest average of 10.80 increased to 14.40 on the Posttest. Based on the two data, it is then compared to obtain a difference of 3.2. Based on these results it can be concluded that the hypothesis proposed by Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a difference in understanding the value of patriotism in adolescents of the mosque of Banyuanyar Village, Banjarsari Subdistrict, Surakarta City after the socialization of the patriotism value through film screening by applying the Snowball Throwing strategy combination of Scramble. there are average pretest and posttest values.
