Abstract

Buying and selling is a form of business that is practiced by Allah. However, the implementation must comply with legal rules which will later result in legal or not. Something that is made as an object of sale and purchase must have value benefits, especially buying and selling online media. Islam has justified buying and selling and prohibiting usury is one form of online buying and selling that has flourished this year. One of the most unique is buying and selling Instagram follower accounts. This buying and selling is selling Instagram accounts. However, the purchase value is not clear because the account is active and pasive. This lack of clarity raises many perspectives on where these accounts come from. The problems contained in this study: first how is the system mechanism for buying and selling Instagram followers, second how is the law of Islamic view of the practice of buying and selling Instagram followers. The problems studied by this researcher often occur in the millennial community. The purpose of this research is to be used as a scientific work for the academic community and can be used as an evaluation material for Instagram users. How to buy and sell Instagram followers is no longer done so as not to cause negative things like fraud. The method used is a qualitative method, namely the type of field research based on an interview with Instagram users and the seller of Instagram followers. The method used in collecting data is by observation, documentation and recording.
