Abstract

Cipta Mandiri is a small and medium-sized business engaged in plywood, located in Sidowayah Village, Polanharjo District, Klaten Regency. The production process consists of 8 work stations with 23 activities. The purpose of this study is to study and utilize potential hazards, using the HIRARC method. Responded in this study, all workers in Cipta Mandiri received 17 people. The steps in this study are risk detection, risk, risk control and SOP. The results of this study are known to involve 12 sources of danger that occurred from 23 work activities, namely muscle damage, slipping, facing wood powder, facing the blade, noisy room, dusty room, crushed material, punctured, hammer, smell of stinging glue, chemical hazards and pinched. The results of the risk assessment analysis obtained a low risk work risk of 80%, a moderate risk of 16% and a high risk of 4%. Risk controls that can be carried out are improving work layout, protective personal protective equipment (masks, goggles, gloves, safety shoes and earplugs), making SOPs for companies, supporting loans for operators who do not use PPE and not related to SOP, trying to open K3
