Abstract
ABSTRACT NUGRAHAINI PUJI HASTUTI. J 310 050 015 RELATIONSHIP OF CONSUMPTION CARBOHYDRATES, PROTEINS, AND FATS WITH PHYSICAL FITNESS A ELEMENTARY CHILDRENS SCHOOLS IN SD N KARTASURA I Introduction : Sports activity in the form of physical activity and games is the one factor that can affect children growth and development The factors that affect physical fitness are healthiness, age, gender, physical activity, heredity and nutritional status. Proper nutrition to support physical fitness of children consist of macronutrien and micronutrients. Purpose : Understand the relationship of carbohydrate consumption levels, consumption of protein and fat consumption and physical fitness of elementary school children in SD N Kartasura I. Research Methods : The type of this research is observational crossectional approach. Consumption list include carbohydrates, proteins and fats obtained through interviews by SD N Kartasura I the recall method 3 times 24 hours. Physical fitness measured by using a test bench harvard (harvard step test) in a way up and down the bench as high as 10 inches (25.4 cm) continuously for 5 minutes. The number of samples in this study were students from 4th grader and 5th grader in SD N Kartasura I total 54 students. Relationship was tested with Pearson-product moment, Ho is rejected if the p-value <0.05. Results : In the level of consumption of carbohydrate, protein and fat, most of the students classified as heavy deficit levels 40.7%, 64.8% and 51.9% respectively. But physical fitness level of most of the students are classified as very good as much as 75.90%. That is because there are other factors that affect health such as physical fitness weight, age, gender, physical activity, heredity, consumption of micronutrients and nutritional status. Based on the results of statistical tests, it can be seen that there is no relationship between the level of consumption of carbohydrates, proteins and fats with physical fitness, with p value of 0.096, 0.0347 and 0.844. Conclusion : There is no significant relationship between the level of consumption of carbohydrate, fat and protein with the physical fitness childrens of elemantary school children in SD N Kartasura I. Keywords : Carbohydrates, proteins, fats and physicall fitness Bibliography : 47 : 1981-2008 HUBUNGAN TINGKAT KONSUMSI KARBOHIDRAT, PROTEIN, DAN LEMAK DENGAN KESEGARAN JASMANI ANAK SEKOLAH DASAR DI SD N KARTASURA I Pendahuluan : Kegiatan olahraga berupa aktivitas fisik dan permainan merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesegaran jasmani adalah kesehatan badan, umur, jenis kelamin, aktivitas fisik, faktor keturunan dan status gizi. Nutrisi yang tepat untuk menunjang kesegaran jasmani anak terdiri dari mikronutrien dan makronutrien. Tujuan Penelitian : Mengetahui hubungan tingkat konsumsi karbohidrat, konsumsi protein dan konsumsi lemak dengan kesegaran jasmani pada anak sekolah dasar di SD N Kartasura I. Metode Penelitian : Jenis penelitian ini bersifat observasional dengan pendekatan crossectional. Meliputi data tingkat konsumsi karbohidrat, protein dan lemak diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan metode recall 3 kali 24 jam. Data kesegaran jasmani diukur dengan menggunakan tes bangku harvard (harvard step test) dengan cara naik turun bangku setinggi 10 inchi (25,4 cm) secara terus menerus selama 5 menit. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa dan siswi kelas 4 dan 5 SD N Kartasura I sebanyak 54 siswa. Uji hubungan dengan pearson-product moment. Hasil Penelitian : Walaupun Tingkat konsumsi karbohidrat, protein dan lemak sebagian besar siswa tergolong defisit tingkat berat, berturut-turut sebanyak 40,7%, 64,8% dan 51,9%, tetapi tingkat kesegaran jasmani sebagian besar siswa tergolong sangat baik yaitu sebanyak 75,90%. Hal tersebut dikarenakan terdapat faktor lain yang mempengaruhi kesegaran jasmani seperti kesehatan badan, umur, jenis kelamin, aktivitas fisik, faktor keturunan, konsumsi mikronutrien dan status gizi . Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik dapat diketahui bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara tingkat konsumsi karbohidrat, protein dan lemak dengan kesegaran jasmani, dengan nilai p berturut-turut 0,096, 0,0347 dan 0,844. Kesimpulan : tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat konsumsi karbohidrat, protein dan lemak dengan kesegaran jasmani anak sekolah dasar di SD N Kartasura I.
